HEYDAY – noun – the period of a person’s or thing’s greatest success, popularity, or vigor.

One of a handful of up-and-coming luxury comfort sneaker brands, Heyday’s new line, highlighted by the Super Shift, offers an adventurous color palette and strikingly original designs. Materials in the line of sneakers and shoes include premium leathers, suede and ballistic mesh, as well as terry cloth and leather linings with full length memory foam footbeds.

Heyday defies design conventions by combining several different trends, constructions or themes into one new style. The use of premium leathers throughout the entire line separates the collection from many other street wear influenced athletic products on the market.

Heyday was founded in 2006 by Boston-based footwear designer Darin Hager. Hager has been a professional designer since 1995 and has worked with a diverse group of brands, including Puma and Sperry Top-Sider. Like most designers, Darin had always dreamed of having his own brand to showcase his own designs, undiluted by corporate design committees. Darin’s design methodology is called Shoe Math and involves combining several different concepts or trends to create something completely new. Recognizing a void in the current retail environment for unique design concepts, Heyday aims to cater to the niche of enlightened consumers looking to wear thoughtfully designed footwear with an original point of view.
